Planned water shutdown for next week

Residents are kindly urged to store sufficient water in advance.

A Planned water shutdown at the Ventersdorp Road Pump Station, is scheduled to take place on Monday July 7 from 06:00 until 18:00.

Jeanette Tshite, municipal spokesperson says the shutdown is necessary to allow the appointed contractor to carry out essential pipework modifications at the pump station. These works are critical to improving and maintaining the reliability of our water infrastructure and long-term service delivery to residents.

Residents in the affected areas are kindly urged to store sufficient water in advance for household use, as water supply will be temporarily interrupted during the specified period.

Affected Areas will include:

  • Kanonierspark
  • Witrand Hospital
  • SANDF
  • Dassierand
  • Promosa
  • Mohadin
  • All Ikageng Extensions
  • Eersterantjies Reservoirs
