Members of the local Korean Martial Arts Club competed in two national events that were held in Stellenbosch and Pretoria over the weekend of 7 and 8 October respectively. The National American Tae kwon do Association (ATA) and South African Sport Martial Arts (SASMA) held the two separate events that the Potch members competed in.
The results are as follows: Back: Master Louise Viviers (instructor); Hanke de Kock 2 x gold (ATA); Ameldia van Zyl 1 x gold and 2 x bronze (Sasma); Ruan van der Berg 2 x silver and 1 x bronze (ATA); Imke de Kock 2 x gold, 1 x silver, 1 x bronze (ATA). In front: Cael Witten 2 x bronze (Sasma); Emma Witten 1 x bronze (Sasma); JC Wyllie (ATA); William Avis 2 x bronze (ATA).
