The 9T20-Eleven team, comprising some of the top players from the 9T20 Social and Business League in Potchefstroom are the official champions of the North West Cricket (NWC) Second League for the 2017/18 season.
In a closely-fought contest at Potchefstroom Boys High on Saturday, 24 February, the 9T20-Eleven team chased down Mafikeng’s score of 175 finishing on 179/7. Henri Enslin hit a match-winning 47 with Christo van Wyk’s 19* (34) and Riaan Vorster’s 36 (17) sending the team to victory.
Koos Joubert was one of the standout bowlers taking 3/20 in his 3 overs of medium pace. Jaco van der Mescht also picked up 2/17 in his 3 overs.
