The 2018 SA Country Districts tournament is currently taking place at the Potchefstroom Country Club in Potchefstroom with action coming fast and furious in both the A and B sections.

On a chilly Tuesday morning, the respective teams already teed off at 07:00 as the foursomes got underway on a pristine course.

Yesterday in the A-section, hosts North West beat Free State 7-5 with Ray Janse van Rensburg, Oliver Goldhill and Albert Britz starred on home turf. KZN also started the defence of their title with a solid 7-5 win against Mpumalanga yesterday. North West will face Mpumalanga today in what promises to be some intense tactical golf on display.

In the B-section, Boland made light work of Border with a comprehensive 11-1 win as they attempt to regain A-division status.
