The Proteas cricket team are ready for tomorrow’s KFC International T20 match against Zimbabwe at Senwes Park.

According to Proteas middle order batsman, David Miller, the Proteas will be looking to get the basics right in both batting and bowling department tomorrow as they look to clinch the series.

“There is a lot of freedom and flair in our side for the T20, but you still have to stick to the basics. We will need to be disciplined in the bowling department, especially with our death bowling,” said Miller after the morning training session.

Miller, who enjoys playing the role of one of the senior players in the squad, also added that he was impressed with the new blood in the Proteas setup and praised Rassie van der Dussen on his first outing in East London on Tuesday.

“He really played well in his first game and he showed what he can do at international level after showing his talent for many years at the Lions,” stated Miller.

The KFC International T20 match between the Proteas and Zimbabwe will take place at 18:00 tomorrow at Senwes Park.
