Dragons need to win against Limpopo Impalas

The Pro20 Cup match between the Dragons and Limpopo Impalas is set to start at 18:00.

The North West Dragons need to get back on the winning train again in the Pro20 Cup when they face the Limpopo Impalas tonight (Wednesday, October 21) at the NWC Oval.

The Dragons lost their previous two games against the Garden Route Badgers (6 wickets) and Dolphins (7 wickets) and currently find themselves out of the top 4 in sixth place on 9 points. Border is on 10 points in fifth position with SWD occupying the fourth spot on 13 points.

Limpopo are still winless this season and the Dragons will want to take advantage of their opponents’ poor form.

The Dragons have struggled to keep the opposition batters in check in the last two games and their bowlers will need to put in a solid effort. The batters have showed promise with Wihan Lubbe hitting 176 runs thus far in the competition at an average of 35. Ludwich Schuld is the second leading run-scorer with 159 runs to his name.

The match at the NWC Oval is set to start at 18:00.
