A superb century from Proteas batsman, Dean Elgar (137*) and half-century from team mate Heinrich Klaasen (82*) helped the Multiply Titans to a total of 240/4 after 42 overs against the bizhub Highveld Lions today in their Momentum One Day Cup clash at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom.
At the time of writing these two Titans batsmen were still at the crease sharing in a brilliant 202-run partnership for the fifth wicket. The Lions struck as early as the first over at Bjorn Fortuin picked up Jonathan Vnadiar for a duck. The Lions continued to make in roads as they had the Titans teetering at 38/4 with disciplined bowling, until Elgar and Klaasen steadied the ship.
The Lions best bowlers have been the economical and precise, Dwaine Pretorius 1/25 as well as Wiaan Muler who has bowled well with 0/37 in his 8 overs.
Be sure to make your way to Senwes Park this evening for more brilliant franchise cricket action!
