The North West Flames are excited for a pulsating Netball Premier League from May to July. The Flames held a launch function on Tuesday to officially kick off their title ambitions. The Flames play their first match against the Golden Fireballs in Pretoria on Friday, 10 May. Their next game is against the Free State Crinums at midday.

Their final match of the weekend will be against the Gauteng Jaguars at 11:30 on Sunday, 12 May.

The head coach is Dr Elsje Jordaan, with Kealeboga Mabeka taking assistant-coach duties.

Squad: Shooters – Chanté Louw, Alicia van Staden, Bianca Leyleveld, Elsunet du Plessis, Jessica du Plessis and Lucy Strydom. Centre Court – Kgomotso Ithlabenyeng, Roné Carstens, Mirriam Maroba, Anelda Jacobs and Kailah Ferreira. Defence – Simoné Rabie, Leonie Maree, Nicolene van Heerden and Didintle Keebine.
