The North West Dragons finally got on the board in the CSA Provincial One Day competition on Sunday. They achieved their first win in five matches against KZN Coastal at Kingsmead in Durban. The Dragons had a well-deserved 72-run win after their bowlers restricted the hosts to 163 all out.

The Dragons hit 235/8 in their 50 overs after Eben Botha hit a well-composed 76 in his second one-day match for the Dragons. Yassar Cook also hit his fifth list A fifty with a steady 57 (98) to contribute to the Dragons’ winning surge. The Dragons bowlers all contributed to a superb team bowling performance.
