Potch Dorp Rugby Club’s women recently hosted Living Ball Ministries for an informative talk at the club on Saturday, 17 April.

According to the manager of the Potch Dorp women’s first team, Henriëtte Pretorius, she contacted Living Ball Ministries to inspire the players and management.

Living Ball Ministries’ Franna and Charmaigne Cillie were the two representatives who shared their story of redemption that is rooted in the overall message of this Christian organisation.

The message uses four colours, (black (lost in sin), red (His blood), white (His Spirit) and green (growing in Christ)) that focuses on the redemption message and a new life in Christ and how this impact one’s life in various aspects, especially in the sporting world.

Manie du Toit, the founder of Living Ball Ministries, shares the gospel with the use of rugby balls, which contain the the imprinted gospel. Each ball then acts as a seed that gets sown back into the community.

Each participant in the talk on Saturday received a rugby ball after the message to share the message further in their daily walk.
