The South African national netball team are spending their preparation camp for the upcoming Quad Series in Potchefstroom from 4-6 January.
This isolation camp is taking place at the NWU Netball courts in order to give the Proteas enough prep time ahead of the quad series against England, Australia and New Zealand that will take place from 15-19 January in London. The Proteas are also residing at the NWU Sports Village during their stay.
The Proteas also has a distinct NWU/Potch flavour with current Proteas national coach, Dorette Badenhorst, having coached the NWU for a number of years.

Former NWU players, Sigi Burger, Simone Rabie, Monique Reyneke as well as current players, Elmeré van der Berg and Jessica du Plessis also form part of the squad.
