In just two days time, the 2022/23 CSA division 1 season will launch into high gear with the start of the exciting CSA T20 Challenge on Monday, 17 October at the JB Marks Oval in Potchefstroom.
All 31 matches will take place in Potchefstroom with the final on Saturday, 5 November. Each day will also feature a total of 2 matches – cricket fans will definitely get their fair share of booming sixes and scintillating wickets as SA’s top domestic talent clash in this frenetic format.

To build hype for the tournament on home soil, the North West Dragons team held a meet and greet with supporters had a new kit unveiling at the MooiRivier Mall this past Friday, 14 October.
Young, aspiring cricketers and fans could meet their heroes and get autographs as well as partake in various fun activities and games. Fans could also win tickets to matches in the upcoming tournament.

The NW Dragons kick start their campaign with an encounter against the Lions at the JB Marks Oval on Monday (17 October) at 18:00.
This match will definitely raise the roof, with numerous big hitters and top players involved.
The NW Dragons are a solid white ball unit with a blend of youth and experience to lead the way. The big-hitting, Wesley Marshall, and always dangerous Heino Kuhn will want to make an impact with the bat from the onset. Shaylen Pillay, Delano Potgieter and Senuran Muthusamy will also be key in the middle order.
From a bowling perspective, Eldred Hawken, Duan Jansen, Kerwin Mungroo and Caleb Seleka, provide numerous variety in attack. Throw in Potgieter and Muthusamy, and you have an economical attack with a penchant of also picking up wickets.
The Lions are also stacked with talent. Proteas, Ryan Rickelton, Sisanda Magala, Wiaan Mulder and Lutho Sipamla provide strength in depth in the batting and bowling departments. Fans can also keep an eye on batsman, Mitchell van Buuren and T20 journeyman, Cameron Delport, a new aquisition in this solid Gauteng-outfit.
Earlier in the day, the Dolphins will face the Titans at 14:30 in the first match of the tournament. Both matches will surely be firecrackers to start the tournament off in fine fashion.
Tickets for match days are available for as little as R1 on a first come, first serve basis. Prices also range from R50 for adults and R30 for children and will be for both matches on the day.
