Saints Christian School cricketers, Jessica "Chief" Joshua (12) & Lyanduthando "Lulu" Dladla (12), put on a massive undefeated 302-run opening partnership when they played against Lichtenburg Hub U/13A girls in the North West U/13A Girls league in October.
Saints Christian School cricketers, Jessica “Chief” Joshua (12) & Lyanduthando “Lulu” Dladla (12), put on a massive 302* opening partnership when they played against Lichtenburg Hub U/13A girls in the North West U/13A Girls league in October.
Lulu gave a master class in cutting & pulling, she smashed her way to a brutal 149* off 65 balls.
Chief was her usual powerful self when she got hold of the bowlers & made her third hundred of the season, 101* off 63 balls.

“It was something unreal and special to witness as Lulu & Chief destroyed the bowlers over after over. This is definitely a Saints record that has been broken and I’m wondering if it might be a North West or even South African record? It will be interesting to see where they are in the record books,” said Claudio Lucas, Saints Christian School Sports Coordinator.
“Lulu & Chief have both had an incredible cricket season as they led their team to the North West U/13A Girls League title, undefeated, These are definitely two future Protea Stars in the making!” added Lucas.
