Clover donates R500 000 to PinkDrive campaign

The sale of Clover’s limited-edition PinkDrive packs helped raise R500 000, supporting early cancer detection and awareness programmes run by PinkDrive nationwide.

Clover, one of the country’s most trusted dairy brands, has donated R500 000 to PinkDrive in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The donation comes after a successful October 2025 campaign that saw Clover partner with PinkDrive, a non-profit organisation focused on promoting early detection of gender-related cancers.

As part of the initiative, Clover introduced limited-edition PinkDrive packaging across some of its popular products. For every pink pack purchased during the month, Clover donated 20c to PinkDrive’s cancer awareness and screening efforts.

The campaign received strong support from South Africans nationwide, helping Clover raise R500 000 to assist PinkDrive in providing free cancer screening and education to under-resourced communities.

A formal handover ceremony took place at the Randburg Clinic on November 10, where Clover officially presented the funds to PinkDrive representatives. The donation will help sustain the organisation’s mobile mammography and health education units, which travel across the country offering life-saving screening services and information.

PinkDrive’s mobile units continued to operate throughout October, reaching thousands of people with breast cancer education and screening opportunities. The funds raised will ensure these services remain accessible, particularly for women who live far from medical facilities.

Clover’s partnership with PinkDrive highlights the impact of everyday choices. By simply choosing Clover’s PinkDrive-branded products, consumers contributed to an initiative that supports early cancer detection and community health.

The campaign showed how collective action can create meaningful change, helping more South Africans gain access to vital health information and screening.
