Thank you for helping puppies in distress

He was on his way somewhere with a lady and a tiny baby in his car, but he still took the time to rescue a puppy.

This morning, Monday 12th October, the little puppy that lives behind us got out of his yard.

The neighbour has a very heavy rolling gate with a padlock on, and this was shut and locked. The little dog was caught under the gate with his head on the one side of the gate and his body on the other side. The mother of the puppy had bee barking for help for ages.

As I couldn’t see what the problem was from my yard, I phoned the SPCA for help to go and investigate the problem. The gentleman was less than enthusiastic to help. At that stage I didn’t realise the importance of needing help. So I got into my car and went round to see what was wrong.

I was horrified to see what was wrong. I phoned Stanley Myle at the CPF who sent two very helpful Gentlemen, Charl and William, to help. While I was waiting for them to arrive, fortunately a gentleman was passing in his car and I stopped him.

His name was Johann. When he saw the situation he went home and got a pole to lift the gate. With the help of the two CPF Gentlemen and the other gentleman, Johann, the gate was lifted and the puppy freed.

My grateful thanks to Johann. He was on his way somewhere with a lady and a tiny baby in his car, but he still took the time to rescue a puppy.

To Stanley Myle and the two gentlemen, William and Charl from the CPF. Your response was amazing.

It is great to know you even help puppies in distress.
