LETTER: Will I get the roof over my head this year?
I was told I would receive my place at Montrose before Christmas in 2020, but I am still waiting.

Referring to the letter in the Herald of September 10 with headline MEC promises roofs over people’s heads during visits to housing projects, the following:
I applied for a RDP house two years ago. Then during September 2020 I was called for the meeting and told I would receive my place at Montrose before Christmas.
I never heard a word again after that.
I also heard some people were living there already but a year later I am still waiting for my place. Every time I go to the housing office I am told to come back next month. How is it possible to wait two years?
Will it be possible to get the roof over my head this year?
We are all really upset and frustrated, and hope the problem will be solved.
