Equestrian Centre starts the year on a high
The 6-year old horse rider, Cassandra Comyn, shows her skill at her first riding competition and takes the gold.
The Little Acres Equestrian Centre started the year with a bang when one of their riders took the gold in a pre-horse of the year show on 1 February.
According to the owner of Little Acres Equestrian Centre, Shelly de Beer, six-year old Cassandra Comyn from Little Acres Equestrian Centre and her pony, Bronwydd Mistletoe competed in her first competition ever at the Pre-Horse Of The Year Show at Maple Ridge Equestrian Centre in the Cradle of Human Kind.
“Cassandra did extremely well and showed great skill on the back of Bronwydd Mistletoe,” says Shelly.
She adds that Cassandra has only been riding for a couple of months and brought home the title of Reserve Champion Young Child.
“Little Cassandra definitely did Little Acres Equestrian Centre and her home town of Randfontein proud during this prestigious competition,” says Shelly.
