Three more Cape Town tests for Bidvest Wits

Wits to face Vasco da Gama, Ajax and FC Cape Town.

Bidvest Wits continue their pre-season camp in Cape Town with a match against Vasco da Gama on Thursday, Ajax Cape Town on Friday and FC Cape Town on Saturday before returning to Gauteng.

The Clever Boys played against Santos on Tuesday before a match against Chippa United a day later as coach Gavin Hunt put his players through their paces with three gruelling sessions a day.

The club that finished third in the league last season have brought with them several new signings such as Thulani Hlatshwayo, Henrico Botes, Chris Katongo, Kees Kwakman, Vincent Pule and Giorgi Nergadze.

Hunt will take his squad back to Johannesburg on Sunday before returning to the Cape at the end of the month to play in the inaugural Cape Town Challenge against Mamelodi Sundowns, Moroka Swallows and Ajax.

Meanwhile Bidvest Wits are expected to confirm another quality new signing to their stable in the form of Ajax Cape Town midfielder Toriq Losper.

The deal will likely see Bidvest Wits’ Malawian striker Robin Ngalande go the other way to the Urban Warriors, according to information gathered.
