GR.R learners from Marumofase Primary School, outside Tzaneen, were over the moon to receive certificates during their graduation ceremony held recently.
The learners, some of them living with disabilities, were awarded certificates after they completed the year where they prepared for gr.1.
The graduation was also used to recognise learners living with disabilities, who were enrolled with the school.
According to the school’s principal, George Ramodike, the aim of the ceremony was to highlight the achievements of children living with disabilities.
He said the event was also organised to create a healthy relationship among the learners, educators, parents and social partners in educational matters.
The event was graced by distinguished guests like Chief Bessie Maake, Thabina circuit manager, Tom Kgomo, co-ordinator of full service and special schools in the Mopani district, Dr Hellen Baloyi, and other local principals.
