POLOKWANE – Mitchell House awarded Outreach Programme learners last Saturday during an outreach awards and breakfast ceremony.
The Mitchell House Outreach Programme was established in 2003 with Daniel Sempe as the programme co-ordinator. He is now the director of Outreach.
The purpose of the programme is to train internal and external teachers and grounds staff in mathematics, physical science, English and computer literacy. The programme has to date trained over 1 000 teachers.
“We had 205 registered students this year and our focus was on computer literacy,” said Achsah Phoshoko, Mitchell House’s director of marketing.
