POLOKWANE – Learners from Grace and Hope LSEN School were celebrated during their graduation ceremony at the Ngoako Ramatlhodi Indoor Sports Complex in Seshego recently.
Beautiful hand work by the learners such as chairs, hats, bags and artwork were on display during the ceremony.
Grace and Hope School is a special needs school for children with intellectual disabilities. The school currently has over 350 learners enrolled, with a staff of 96 teachers and support staff.
The principal, Mabore Ngoatje said: “Today is a beautiful day as we see some of our children dressed in these special gowns. It only proves that they are capable of achieving a lot of things.
“They might be disabled, but they have special talents to work with their hands and create beautiful things,” said Ngoatje.
