POLOKWANE – Red and white were the colours of the day when Mother Goose Pre-school and Day Care celebrated Valentine’s Day on Friday.
Berenice Smith, a teacher and the owner of Mother Goose, said the theme of the day was all about love.
“The day was about teaching the children the importance of loving one another, caring for each other and sharing love with others,” Smith explains.
To add to the Valentine’s Day fun, there was also a jumping castle for the children and party packs.
The children made Valentine’s Day gifts for their parents: hand painted hearts that were sprinkled with coconut.
