Limpopo Business Symposium set to raise money for good cause

POLOKWANE – Princess Tsakani Nkambule will dedicate her birthday celebration to raising money for the N’wamitwa and Ga-Chuene orphans as usual and this year she plans to do so on an even greater scale.
Instead of hosting her usual birthday golf day, the proceeds of which also go towards the N’wamitwa and Ga-Chuene orphans, she is planning to host the first annual Limpopo Business Symposium, organised through the Princess Tsakani Foundation.
“The symposium will connect aspirant entrepreneurs with leaders of corporate organisations across South Africa. It will provide a unique platform for more than 1 000 entrepreneurs and business leaders to debate issues facing entrepreneurs in our country, and discuss how best to harness the potential of aspiring entrepreneurs,” she explains.
She says business owners will share their success stories with aspiring entrepreneurs in South Africa. Some of the powerful speakers who will form part of the day include Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe, Africa Fashion International’s chairperson, Ludwick Marishane, who hails from Limpopo and is the internationally-renowned inventor of Dry Bath, Margaret Hirsch, Hirsch’s co-founder and chief operations officer, and Sbusiso Leope, a DJ, motivational speaker and successful entrepreneur.
“The Princess Tsakani Foundation would like to thank those who participated in the golf day in the past for their continuous support of the Princess Tsakani Foundation Golf Day. It is through their great contribution and participation that R80 000 was raised in 2012 and R150 000 in 2013. Their support assisted in providing the orphans of N’wamitwa and Ga-Chuene with school uniforms,” Nkambule says.
The symposium will be held at the Polo-kwane International Airport on June 7 and starts at 07:00.
Tickets cost R200 per person for general entry and R150 per student.
VIP tickets cost R1 000 and VIP guests will be treated to a delightful lunch, and refreshments. The end of the formal proceedings will see the VIP guests enjoy an exclusive cocktail function.
