Mitchell House’s Eisteddfod pride

Mitchell House learners participated in the Southern Cross Eisteddfodd in Hoedspruit on May 16, where they received various awards.

Mitchell House learners boast diamond awards from the Southern Cross Eisteddfod: In front are Qailah Hatieb, Rayhaan Issa, Fatima Ismail, Tshego Phasha and Lebo Rachidi. In the middle are Ledile Kgopong, Akila Ramdharie, Bokang Selepe, Rameez Omar and Maseeha Sonpra. At the back are Andrew Cook (Mitchell House, headmaster) and Nadia du Preez (Mitchell House, teacher).

The Southern Cross Eisteddfod platinum - "renoster" winners (90% +) are Husnaa Dada, Ayesha Ayob, Mahlatse Tladi, Faaria Rhemtula (she was also awarded the overall winner) and Shaakira Hassim. At the back are Andrew Cook (Mitchell House, headmaster) and Nadia du Preez (Mitchell House, teacher).
