Studies come to life during simulation
Some 60 gr. 12 business studies learners from five schools; Eagle's Nest Christian Academy, Jabez Christian Academy, Kingfisher Private School, Maseala Progressive School and Mitchell House College had a business study simulation from Banango Traders, a division of Johannesburg School of Finance.
POLOKWANE – Some 60 gr. 12 business studies learners from five schools; Eagle’s Nest Christian Academy, Jabez Christian Academy, Kingfisher Private School, Maseala Progressive School and Mitchell House College had a business study simulation from Banango Traders, a division of Johannesburg School of Finance.
The simulation was held at Mitchell House last Tuesday.
Jolene Ollewagen from Banango Traders said: “Banango Traders is a highly stimulating and competitive business simulation game that is at the core of all the programmes we offer and it is guaranteed to bring curriculum content to life.
“The simulation will not only entertain learners, but more importantly, it will teach them valuable financial, planning and strategising skills.
“In addition to the simulation, learners complete subject and grade specific assessments that are of the highest standard and have been moderated and approved. It is fun, educational, relevant, controlled and very easy to implement”.
Karieman Tayob, a Mitchell House learner, said: “Banango game is really fun and education, we learned so much from the game and implemented a lot of what we do in the business class, so it was really beneficial to us”.
