POLOKWANE – In brightly coloured clothing and shiny hats, the children and personnel of Aladdin’s Den Pre-school in Fauna Park celebrated Casual Day on Friday.
This was to match this year’s theme, Bring Out the Bling. They also had a fashion show, during which the children paraded in their unique outfits for the day. Thereafter, the children and their teachers danced and had lunch in the courtyard.
The children also celebrated Spring Day by making flowers out of Marie biscuits, sweets and icing sugar.
Zyrilla van der Kolff, principal and owner of Alladdin’s, said the money raised for Casual Day would be donated to the Polokwane Nasorgsentrum.
“I would like to thank the parents for their support and for making this day so special by dressing the children according to the theme.
“I would also like to thank my staff for supporting this cause,” Van der Kolff said.
