Programme gets an added boost

MAKHADO – Zoalize van Zyl, Stimu-zone teacher, says she is proud to announce that she will add computer tablets to her programme soon.

Stimu-zone is a special educational computer programme for learners from pre-school to gr. 7.

“To maximise exposure, we will alternate between laptops and computer tablets during classes. The tablets make the classes more engaging because it is easy to access interactive media this way. This leads to a better educational outcome and improved fine motor skills,” Van Zyl says.

“We live in a world where technology changes almost daily and the learners have to keep up to date,” she explains.
