POLOKWANE – To make sure that every learner is well taken care of and has a voice of his own, is one of the top priorities of Christian Achievers Academy (CAA), according to principal, Norma Grant.
Last Thursday, the school hosted a programme by well-known singer and actor, Nazli George, and drama student and actress, Nomsa Makhubu, called Stop the Bully.
The production tells the story of a schoolgirl who turns out to be a bully.

She bullies children who then fight with her.
However, the girl lives with her stepmother who bullies her, which is why she, in turn, bullies the children at her school.
George is best known to television audiences for her roles in the Afrikaans drama series Andries Plak and Riemvasmaak.
She brings her comedy style to schools all over South Africa by sending the message that bullies do not have a place in schools and should be stopped.
“I feel that there have been enough lives ruined by bullies and that it is up to every child to realise that he or she has the power to stop bullies.
“It is a message that I feel passionate about. We need to put the power back into the hands of the the learners in schools and with this production, I am doing exactly that,” George said.
