LOUIS TRICHARDT – Heaven Sent Pre-primary School hosted their “graduation” ceremony on Saturday at the Sandkorrel Fun Park and made a fun day of it.
The children, who were leaving the pre-school to join different primary schools next year, each received a “graduation” certificate from Nettie Geerdts, owner of the school.
Father Christmas was also supposed to visit the children, but because he was so busy at his warehouse to prepare for Christmas, he sent his wife, Mother Christmas instead.
Anci Lund volunteered to play the role of Mother Christmas and the children were quite happy with Father Christmas’ replacement.
After the children each received presents from Mother Christmas, they challenged their parents to a skipping competition.
The children and their parents enjoyed a delicious plate of potjiekos and enjoyed the rest of the day at the fun park.
