THE MTN Foundation in Limpopo has donated 100 pairs of school shoes and 12 lunch boxes to learners from Mapangula Primary School in Ga-Mashashane.
The hand-over was held last Wednesday.
Manoko Mapeka of the MTN Foundation in Limpopo said: “we have seen that most learners go to school without proper school shoes. It is our duty to help where we can. As MTN Foundation in Limpopo, we decided to distribute shoes to the needy. We want to invest in education. We aim to help the needy and to put a smile on the children’s faces”.
The principal, Mmakwena Fridah Baloyi, thanked the MTN Foundation in Limpopo for the donation.
“Most of the learners came to school without proper school uniform. The donation is a relief to the school management. We are very delighted and hope that our relationship with the MTN Foundation in Limpopo will not end here,” said Baloyi.
