POLOKWANE – Noddy’s Playground Créche and Pre-school held a “graduation ceremony” for gr. R learners at the Westenburg community hall on Saturday evening.
The ceremony also included a concert, where the children took to the stage and entertained guests with a play and singing and dancing.
Local gospel singer, Mary-Ann Rantho also entertained guests.
The principal, Leonne van Wyk, said the ceremony was well attended and everyone had fun.
“Thirty-three children ‘graduated’ on Sa-turday evening and I would like to wish them all the best.
“I will miss all the children and I believe they will make the school proud and continue to listen to their elders,” said Van Wyk.
She said proceeds of ticket sales for the ceremony would be used to buy stationery for the class of 2015.
