3 from Ivy Park are ready for Lim trials

Three Ivy Park Primary School learners qualified to participate in the Limpopo athletics trials that were scheduled to take place at the University of Limpopo's sports grounds.

POLOKWANE – Three Ivy Park Primary School learners qualified to participate in the Limpopo athletics trials that were scheduled to take place at the University of Limpopo’s sports grounds.

The date of the Limpopo trials was yet to be confirmed.

The learners qualified during the Capricorn circuit athletics meeting last Friday, where they excelled as follows:

• Warren Rammutla came fourth in the 100 m for boys u/11.

• Tshepang Dankuru came second in the high jump for boys u/10.

• Kgothatso Semenya came second in the long jump for girls u/12.

“Ivy Park Primary School is very proud of these three learners and we fully trust they will do great at the Limpopo trials,” said the school’s athletics director, Nadia Grobler.
