POLOKWANE – A total of 29 Stanford Lake College (SLC) learners received various academic awards at their school assembly last Friday for outstanding achievements in 2014.
Full colours awards were presented to gr. 10 learners, Rebecca Desmet, Jason Wright and Sarah Pogrund and to gr. 11 learners, Stuart Lunt and James Greeff. Honours awards for academics were given to Rameez Tayob, Conrad Schmidt and Rhanda Mongwe.
The learners who were awarded are now doing gr. 11 and gr. 12 and the awards were based on the achievements they received last year when they were in gr. 10 and gr. 11 respectively.
Rona McGaffin, Stanford Lake College marketer, congratulated all the learners for their excellent results and wished them well in their future endeavours.
