MOKOPANE – THE Du Plessis brothers of Mokopane English Combined School, (MECS) are stars on the sport field.
Hans du Plessis is a social sciences teacher at MECS and is well known for his talent on the rugby field. He participated in the World Cup for the SA students league team in London last year and is currently playing for the Potgietersrus Rugby Club. Hans is also the rugby coach for the u/14 team of Hoërskool Piet Potgieter.
Asher du Plessis, a gr. 9 learner in MECS, obtained third and second places in showjumping, dressage, prix caprelli and ideal time during an equestrian competition in Polokwane on February 14 and 15. Asher will this weekend be competing in all these items in Vivo.
