LIMPOPO – YOUNG entrepreneur, Obakeng Brandon Lebese (22) is the founder of Brandon Holdings (Pty) Ltd and says he is keen to use his business to fight unemployment among young people.
Lebese hails from Lebowakgomo and plans to take Limpopo by storm with his innovative ideas that he says will move the scope of media in the province.
Recently having covered the promotional video of the Polokwane Beer Fest that took place on April 4, he also does local upcoming artists’ music videos and product placements for companies, but over and above this all, he is a photographer first.
Lebese returned to Polokwane in 2012 after dropping out of college where he was learning film and television production. His parents registered a company for him and that was the birth of Brandon Holdings (Pty) Ltd. His company specialises in three fields, being entertainment, consulting and production. His latest innovation is called The Legacy. This concept takes a school yearbook format and is turned into an electronic library or mini gallery in the form of what he calls a “wall book”.
“The Legacy is a project for the people. It is affordable and efficient and provides daily mental stimulation for learners, employment for the youth and most importantly a better future,” he explains.
He has worked with major companies in entertainment and advertising.
He spends his spare time motivating the youth in his community.
“We understand that there are more companies and young people who need our services. It is often very difficult to get access to services like ours. We are one of the first companies that are welcoming, reachable and understanding. Give us any project of any magnitude, and we will make sure we deliver quality content on time,” Lebese pledges.
The whole idea behind Brandon Holdings (Pty) Ltd is to help establish and groom entertainment in the province and also help with artist motivation because most companies are awaiting artists that have already found ground.
