POLOKWANE – Capricorn High School (CHS) took first place in the hockey and second place in the netball games at the Mitchell House winter sports festival last Saturday.
There were different high schools that participated which included Noorderland High School, Pepps College, Curro Northern Academy, Mitchell House College, Eagle’s Nest Christian School, and Southern Cross College.
In the hockey semi-final for girls u/15, CHS played against Noorderland High School and won 2-0.
In the final they faced Southern Cross College, and CHS won 1-0.
In the netball semi-final for girls u/15, CHS played against Pepps College, and the game ended in a draw, but CHS proceeded to the final on account of their goals scored in previous matches.
CHS faced Curro Northern Academy in the final and won 10-5.
