POLOKWANE – Westenburg Secondary School held a casual day with the focus on careers last Friday.
Learners dressed up to portray the career they want to follow, and this included doctors, nurses, sisters, police officials, paramedics, soldiers, engineers, geologists, pilots and many more.
But it was not just the learners who dressed to impress; the teachers also dressed according to various careers in which they were interested in.
The casual day was part of the school’s fundraiser initiative, which was held once a month and every event will have a different theme.
The learners had to pay R5 and the gr. 10, 11, and 12 learners paid an extra R5, which will got towards the gr. 12 farewell at the end of the year.
