‘Missing’ woman returns home

The 44-year-old was reported missing on Tuesday, 27 September.

POLOKWANE – The police are appealing to residents to alert those closest to them of their whereabouts at all times after family members of Margaret Makuwa Makgobelo reported her missing after they had not seen or heard from her for several days. This was a false alarm.

The 44-year-old was reported missing on Tuesday, 27 September after she left home without informing anyone where she would be, and her cell phone was turned off. She has since returned home, unharmed.
According to Cpt Mohlaka Mashiane it is important for people to let their relatives know of their whereabouts as there have been a number of such cases reported in the city recently.
“Let your loved ones or relatives know where you are/ will be at all times. We tend to think the worst has happened when someone appears to be missing, do not put your family through that kind of pain, keep them informed,” Mashiane said.
