Ngwana Baby House has been chosen as one of the 15 satellite beneficiaries of the CEO SleepOut that will be hosted at Northern Academy College on 23 June.
CEO SleepOut Trust’s Child Development and Protection Consultant, Luke Lamprecht and Northern Academy College’s School Sleep-out Ambassador Tebogo Mokhari visited Ngwana Baby House on Friday to engage with Project Manager Amanda Koekemoer.
“Across the country, businesses, groups, and schools can spend a night outdoors at their own premises, gain empathy for vulnerable communities and collect items for satellite beneficiaries,” Lamprecht explains.
Lamprecht says that Ngwana Baby House was selected because of their tireless work providing safe spaces for vulnerable and abandoned babies and children.
Koekemoer says that she was delighted to learn that Ngwana Baby House will benefit from the project and provided a list of items that includes nappies, baby food and formula milk that can be donated by participants.
