Police in Limpopo urged residents and visitors to be vigilant during the Festive Season to ensure their own safety and to avoid becoming a victim of crime.

Safety tips
Stokvel groups are advised to utilise banks to distribute money instead of using cash.
Avoid hitch-hiking or giving people lifts.
Take care of children in malls during routine shopping.
Do not leave minor children alone inside vehicles when shopping.
Do not trust strangers and do not accept their assistance at ATMs.
Double check the car’s doors if it is locked before leaving.
Do not leave valuable items in vehicles.

Provincial Police Commissioner Nneke Ledwaba assured citizens of Limpopo including visitors and tourists a safe and secure Festive Season as men and women in blue are out in full force.
