Drugs worth over R4.2m were confiscated in what Acting Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Major General Jan Scheepers has dubbed a ‘significant success’.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo says police followed up on information regarding drug dealers at Thornhill Village and on arrival found a 24-year-old woman.

“When searching the house, heroine and crystal meth worth R4.2m were found. A foreign national, believed to be the woman’s boyfriend, allegedly fled the scene after realising the police were approaching the premises,” he said.
