Small businesses urged to sign up for Farmyard Trading Post’s market

Melanie Smit, who is part of the management team at the post, said they aim to support, grow and empower businesses in the city, which is why they are hosting another market.

POLOKWANE – The Farmyard Trading Post are calling on all businesses, especially small, medium and micro-enterprises (SMME’s) to sign up for their Farmyard Market this weekend.

Melanie Smit, who is part of the management team at the post, said they aim to support, grow and empower businesses in the city, which is why they are hosting another market.

“Market days help individuals as it’s great for people who like to interact with others as well as a great practice in salesmanship. When you’re present with your stall along with your products, customers get to try out all your products or get to see what they’re all about instead of reading about it or seeing it on social media. You can be sure that you will go home with something in your pocket on that day knowing that you’ve worked hard to get to where you are today. Market days are a great way for building relations,” she said.

Smit added that the Farmyard Trading Post’s markets boast kiddies entertainment in the form of jumping castles, painting and music as well as entertainment for adults and an array of stalls.

To book a stall, send a WhatsApp to Melanie on 079 696 1563.

The market will take place on Saturday (May 6) at the upper level parking lot with other markets penned for May 20, June 3 and June 17.
