POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Municipality says most parts of the city and other areas are currently experiencing low pressure and others are without water due to low levels at both the Krugersburg and Potgieter reservoirs.
Municipal communications manager Matshidiso Mothapo said the low levels are due to an unplanned outage at the Ebenezer plant on Tuesday as well as a planned shutdown for the repairs of a powerline in the area.
“All these outages resulted in less water being pumped to Polokwane and has negatively impacted on water supply to all areas,” his statement read.
Mothapo said all users receiving supply are urged to use water sparingly.
