“One person is in a life-threatening condition seven others were seriously injured while four people sustained minor injuries,” departmental spokesperson Vongani Chauke said.
The injured were taken to Botlokwa, Makado and Polokwane Hospitals respectively for medical treatment.
“This incident comes at a time when Limpopo is still mourning the accident in Musina last week. All should be concerned and promote road safety during our journeys,” Transport and Community Safety MEC Florence Radzilani said.
She further urged law enforcement officers to ensure that motorists comply while traveling.
