SA’s wink vir landsdiener Danielle

Danielle Botes is ‘n landsdiener van Laerskool Krugerpark wat onlangs ‘n insamelingsprojek saam met Hoërskool Piet Potgieter se landsdiensgroep aangepak het vir Gift of the Givers.

MOKOPANE – Landsdiens is ‘n Suid-Afrikaanse organisasie wat daarop gemik is om die jeug op opvoedkundige kampe en uitstappies te neem, asook om maatskaplike projekte aan te pak.

Dit is ‘n omgewing waarin leerders verskeie vaardighede soos leierskap, lewensvaardighede, sosiale vaardighede, selfvertroue, waardering en behoud van die natuur ontwikkel.

Danielle Botes is ‘n landsdiener van Laerskool Krugerpark wat onlangs ‘n insamelingsprojek saam met Hoërskool Piet Potgieter se landsdiensgroep aangepak het vir Gift of the Givers.

Hierdie projek vorm deel van ‘n nasionale projek waar die items na lande en gemeenskappe toe gestuur word wat deur oorloë geteister word of waar daar erge skade aangerig is deur droogte, storms en nog meer.

Danielle het vanjaar vir die tweede keer haar Limpopo Landsdienskleure verwerf, en gaan Limpopo verteenwoordig tydens die nasionale landsdienskamp wat vanaf 7-12 Desember by Emerald River Resort in Vanderbijlpark gaan plaasvind.

“Ek wil net baie dankie sê vir die gemeenskap wat hulle harte en hande oopgemaak het en my ondersteun het in die projek, en vir die wat nog glo in ‘Dade nie Woorde’ soos wat die landsdiensleuse is,” vertel sy.
