Donald Duck Crèche hosts Career Day

Donald Duck Crèche learners celebrated Career Day by dressing up and learning about different professions from inspiring guest speakers and parents.

POLOKWANE – The Donald Duck Crèche buzzed with excitement on Friday as young learners took part in a vibrant Career Day. Dressed in outfits representing their dream jobs, the little ones had the chance to learn about various professions and share their future aspirations.

Parents from a variety of careers were invited to speak and inspire the children. Among them was Dr Simon Marabe Mothiba, an obstetrician and gynaecologist, who encouraged the learners to value every profession.

“It all starts while you are little. You should respect and listen to your teachers all the time and know that every career is equally important,” he said.

The event not only introduced the children to a world of possibilities but also gave them a platform to express their dreams. Magodimo Mothiba proudly said, “When I grow up, I want to be a doctor like my mom and dad.”

From firefighters and police officers to teachers, chefs, and astronauts, the children’s imaginations soared, proving that no dream is too big.
