Binneman, Du Plooy take win at Spur golf day

A total of 81 players competed in the Amarillo Spur Golf Day hosted in a better ball format at the Polokwane Golf Club on Saturday.
Chris Binneman and Theo du Plooy claimed victory with 46 points followed by Riaan Nel and AW Besseling on 45 points (count in). Andries du Plessis and Riaan Nel took third place also with 45 points (count out).
Les Cook and Charles Mara played shots nearest to the pin on the fourth and 16th holes respectively.
Golfers are reminded of the Volvo combined Stableford to be played on Saturday and Sunday.
