Just over 100 athletes participated in the third annual Rhino Charity Run hosted by Polokwane Athletic Club (PAC) at the old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
Johan Janse van Vuuren, past Chairperson of the club and organiser of the event said the R2 600 collected will be handed to Skukuza Marathon Club when their annual half marathon is hosted in Skukuza in the Kruger National Park on 6 August.
According to Van Vuuren the Skukuza Club will utilise the money to fund certain of its internal projects for which no government funding is received.
