Black Leopards Football Club beat Men Limited Football Club from Swaziland 4-0 in a preseason friendly match at Somhlolo National Stadium in Lobamba on Saturday.
Lidoda duvha left the country on 3 July to play friendly matches with some of the teams in Swaziland as part of their preparations for the upcoming 2016/17 National First Division (NFD) which commences on 27 August.
The team is expected back in the country on Monday and will also unveil the new players they identified from trials held in Polokwane and Thohoyandou in June.
Their goals against Men Limited were scored by the evergreen Rogert Nyundu, Jean Mungenga, Thembiseni Nevhulamba and Marubini Manyane.
In the first match of the 2016/17 National First Division (NFD) they will play former Premier Soccer League (PSL) outfit Amazulu at Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban on 28 August.
Black Leopards Spokesperson, Berry Ramunenyiwa said they need to win the match against Amazulu and make their intention clear of going back to the PSL clear. “We are ready for the new season. The journey begins with Amazulu and we have do well and come back home with maximum points,” Ramunenyiwa said.
