Golfers in and around Polokwane took to the fairway during the Polokwane Golf Club individual bonus bogey club golf day that was played on Wednesday.
POLOKWANE – Golfers in and around Polokwane took to the fairway during the Polokwane Golf Club individual bonus bogey club golf day that was played on Wednesday.
Hein Viljoen claimed the first spot after accumulating 4 points, he was followed by Riaan Koekemoer in the second position with 3 points.
Theuns van Tonder finished in the third place with 3 points on a count- out. He was followed by Mpho Makhado in the fourth position with two points while Sous Greyvenstein claimed the fifth place after answering with 0 point on a count-in.
Viljoen played nearest to the pin at hole 12 and Mo Ayob played nearest to the pin at hole two and three.
The Polokwane Golf Club’s golf day was attended by 74 golfers. The jackpot lucky draw was drawn by Len Olley at hole one, 10, 11 and 18 with no winners.
The jackpot now stands at R5 200 of which R4 160 is payable. Golfers are still urged to attend the prize giving ceremonies after every golf challenge.
Anyone who does not attend the ceremony will lose out on the prize which will be given to the runner-up.
